2013 GMC Terrain Denali…Compact Crossover Gets Big Luxury

TerrainThe GMC “Denali” badge is reserved for the most luxurious and refined models, equipped with the latest and greatest technology and features. Now there is a new Denali model. The 2013 GMC Terrain Denali, on sale now at Coulter Motor Company, brings advanced luxury to the compact crossover segment.
All-new for 2013, the six-passenger Terrain Denali adds unique styling, interior treatments and safety technology to the well-equipped Terrain. The Terrain Denali (MSRP $34,926) is powered by a choice of potent and fuel-efficient engines, with both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. The standard engine is an Ecotec 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 182 hp, 172 lb/ft of torque and EPA-estimated fuel economy of 32 mpg highway. Also available is a 3.6-liter V6. Both engines feature direct injection and Continuously Variable Valve Timing. The V6 produces 301 hp and 272 lb/ft of torque, improvements of 14 and 22 percent, respectively, over last year’s 3.0-liter V6. Even with this increase in power and performance, the Terrain Denali V6 maintains the same 24 mpg highway fuel economy rating. All models come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission, and towing capability is rated at up to 3,500 pounds.
You’ll recognize the Terrain Denali by its large chrome grille, body-color fascias and rocker moldings, satin-chrome accents and chrome exhaust finishers. The headlamps and taillamps are also an exclusive Denali design. Rounding out the aggressive look are unique 18-inch wheels on 2.4-liter models and 19-inch alloys with the V6.
The interior of the Terrain Denali has been updated with soft-touch Jet Black leather, contrasting stitching and red accent lighting. The instrument panel features French stitching and the leather-wrapped steering wheel features Smoked Mahogany accents, lending an air of opulence to the cabin. The same Smoked Mahogany can be found adorning the rest of the cabin. “Denali” is embossed on the front seatbacks, and the door sills feature illuminated “Denali” logos. Add 63.9 cubic feet of cargo volume and the Terrain is as versatile as it is luxurious.
Ride and handling has been improved thanks to exclusive new dual-flow dampers. This advanced suspension technology provides a smoother ride and greater control by controlling the suspension dampening across a greater range of driving conditions. Other advanced technologies in the Terrain Denali include a Color Touch Radio system with IntelliLink. The customizable IntelliLink system comes standard and allows users to connect via Bluetooth® and control streaming radio apps like Pandora®. It also features Gracenote® music database technology. A power liftgate is standard, making access to the rear cargo area simple and convenient. A Color Touch Navigation unit and a Rear-Seat DVD Entertainment System are also available.
To protect your most precious cargo, the Terrain Denali is equipped with all the latest safety features, including an all-new, premium standard safety package with Forward Collision Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning and Rear Park Assist. Forward Collision Alert uses the industry’s first single-camera crash avoidance system to monitor and warn drivers of impending collisions. Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert both use radar sensors to help drivers avoid vehicles they may not be able to see. All Terrain models feature many standard safety features, such as six standard airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes and StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control. The available all-wheel drive provides enhanced handling and improved traction in all conditions. Standard in every GMC vehicle, OnStar includes Automatic Crash Response – which will automatically alert emergency personnel in the event of a crash, even if you can’t speak – plus many more safety and convenience features.
The luxurious and refined 2013 GMC Terrain Denali creates a truly upmarket experience for all passengers. Combine this level of equipment and technology with a full collection of advanced safety technology, and it is easy to see why Consumer’s Digest gave the Terrain Denali its prestigious “Best Buy” award.
Come in today for a test drive of the 2013 GMC Terrain Denali.
